Environmental Awareness

According to the UN, we have less than ten years left to prevent irreversible damage to the planet from climate change, this is something that affects us all. In particular, our children are feeling the fear and burden of climate change and the uncertainty of how it will affect them. So, what can we do about it? Education is key!

Raising awareness

You can use your school’s walls to provide visual cues about the environment and climate change. Most importantly, you can include tips for pupils about small actions they can take to make a difference.

For example, design touches on choices we can all make that will reduce our carbon footprint. Talk about the impact of poverty and our collective responsibility to contribute to wider society.
